Creativity at Any Cost?
When my wife and I were married around back in 2007 our wedding ceremony and reception was quite simple yet still stylish and elegant and within a pretty tight budget. I was quite impressed actually that we managed decorate our wedding with all the trimmings
Today, ‘simple with a tight budget’ doesn’t seem to be quite as popular anymore! I think ‘WOW’ and ‘OMG that looks amazing’ and “How much was all that again?” seem to be much more in fashion!
Your wedding reception can be anything you want it to be and the size of your budget doesn’t really need to be a factor anymore. Although we supply a range of wedding decorations and accessories to brides and grooms, we tend to work more closely with the hire businesses instead. And I can say with certainty that some of the most beautifully decorated receptions are not the most expensive! It’s all about creativity; any venue can look absolutely stunning on any budget.
This wedding season a combination of simple, but sparkling diamante buckles and elegant silver “charger” plates can change a plain old white table setting into an ultra modern & glamorous setting fit for royalty. Creating an image of luxury doesn’t have to carry the price tag of luxury!

If you like a more classic table setting but still want to add some extra flair to your event then you can do it with your choice of chair cover and by not choosing a sash. We have 2 different styles of chair covers that are beautifully designed and look stunning on their own without the need for a sash/bow. If you want something a little extra then flowers, feathers or diamantes can be pinned for a truly unique creation.

And to date, there’s only been a handful of brides in the country that have used these exclusive covers so you could be one of the very first in Melbourne/Yarra Valley etc
Decorating your ceremony and reception is certainly a great way to show off your creativity to your family and guests on your wedding day and not to mention the money you could save too! However, we would generally recommend having the professional decorators come in and do it all for you. As a busy bride and groom, setting up a function centre for 100 (or 300 or 400) guests isn’t something you’ll have much time for…and then you have to pack it all up again afterwards. I’m pretty sure the bride and groom would much rather be thinking about jetting off on their honeymoon or relaxing after the busy and quite stressful leadup to their big day.
